What does the AI in Famsy actually do?
The AI interprets what you submit – text, a voice recording, or a photo of a note – and suggests events complete with date, time, and what to bring. You confirm the suggestion before it’s added to the calendar, so nothing ends up there automatically without someone approving it.
Can the AI add things without my approval?
No. The AI always suggests an event first, and you or another adult in the family confirms the details before it is saved to the calendar. This applies whether the source was text, voice, a photo, or a forwarded email.
What is the morning brief?
The morning brief is a daily AI summary that gives your family a quick overview of what’s happening that day – such as who needs to be where and what needs to be brought along.
What does the weekly summary include?
Every Sunday, Famsy sends a weekly summary showing upcoming events and highlighting calendar clashes, so your family can rearrange things before the week gets underway.
Can the AI warn us if two events clash?
Yes, clash warnings are included in the weekly summary sent every Sunday, helping you spot double-bookings before they become an issue mid-week.
Does the AI understand school schedules and club activities?
The AI interprets the information you submit – such as dates, times, and what your child needs to bring – whether it comes from a note, an email, or a voice recording. You always see the suggestion and confirm it before it’s added.
Can I edit the AI’s suggestion before approving it?
Yes, you see the suggestion created by the AI before it is saved, and you can adjust details such as the date, time, or items to bring before confirming and adding the event to the calendar.
Does the AI use the same information for all families?
No, the AI only works with what your own family submits, and suggestions are saved to your family account. The information is never shared with other families using Famsy.
Can the AI handle multiple children’s schedules at the same time?
Yes, since the whole family is in the same account (with up to 10 members), the AI can process information for multiple children and assign events to the right person once someone confirms the suggestion.
What happens if the AI misinterprets something?
Because nothing is added automatically, you can catch and correct any mistake in the suggestion before approving it. If an event does end up with an error, it can easily be edited afterwards just like any other calendar entry.
Can the AI suggest what my child needs to bring?
Yes, when the source material includes that information – such as an email from school or a written note – the AI extracts what needs to be packed and includes it in the suggested event.
Does the AI replace my own planning?
No, the AI makes planning easier by interpreting information and providing summaries, but it’s up to your family to confirm and decide what actually goes into the calendar.
Does the AI work in all nine languages in the app?
Famsy is available in nine languages, including Swedish, English, Spanish, and Norwegian, and the AI works with the content you submit in whichever language you use the app.
Can the AI distinguish between household tasks and calendar events?
Yes, alongside the calendar, Famsy has a household section for tasks, routines, shopping lists, and lifts. The information you submit is interpreted based on context before being placed in the right spot.
